BENEVOLENCE AND BEREAVEMENT
Establish and publish guidelines and policies for assisting the needy (food pantry, gasoline purchase, room and board, etc). Maintain a "food pantry" Maintain records for assistance provided. Organize efforts to assist in local and national disaster relief efforts. Evaluate and recommend responses to needs of supported Christian organizations (children's homes, etc). Communicate with supported organizations to determine appropriateness of support. Evaluate and recommend appropriate responses to Christian organizations requesting congregational support. Provide relief to the community when a disaster occurs such as providing use of the building to house people, feed people, and store needed supplies (for cleaning, rebuilding, etc.). Collect funds to provide assistance to other areas throughout the United States when disaster occurs.
